Caralee Kennedy ’15
Southern New Hampshire University ’22 M.A. Finance
Caralee graduated from CCV while awaiting the birth of her second child, and finished her bachelor’s in marketing in 2018. In 2019 she began as an assistant at Merrill Lynch. In 2021 she had her third child while working at Merrill in their advisor training program. That year also introduced two stepchildren into her home after getting married in September. She went back to school to finish a master’s degree in finance, which she completed in June 2022. She is now a successful advisor and so grateful for the time she put into her education. Caralee is able to provide a life for her children that she didn’t anticipate when she became a mother at 22. This year she bought her third home, which is a pipe dream from when she started at CCV.

Cierra Audette ’19 Liberal Studies
Cierra works for a wonderful company purchasing branded pharmaceuticals. She learned so many skills in her CCV computer classes that have helped with this job.

Carrie Santaw ’07 Administrative Management and ’09 Accounting
Mary Baldwin University ’21 M.S. Higher Education
Carrie just celebrated 10 years at Beacon College, where she is the registrar.

Rachel Maher ’06 Liberal Studies
Goddard College ’16 M.F.A.
After CCV, Rachel worked in human resources for a while before deciding to continue her education. She went on to earn her BA in English & communication from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), as a non-traditional student and busy mother of three boys, before moving on to Goddard College to earn her MFA in 2016. Afterward, she spent some time teaching basic composition and literature classes at MCLA before returning to the HR line of work within elementary education at the Village School of North Bennington (VSNB). She found that she was able to combine her HR skill set with her love of education in different and evolving roles at VSNB. In July 2022, she was promoted to assistant head of school at the VSNB, a truly fulfilling position that allows her to use all of her skills and education every day. For an added bit of fun, in September 2022, she also began teaching a weekly evening course at CCV-Bennington. It has been wonderful to be back on the CCV campus once again, this time helping students on their own educational paths. She says life really does come full circle!
