The Community College of Vermont, or CCV, is giving high school seniors until Sept. 1 to enroll in its Early College program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Danielle Robinson, a 5-9 forward from Thetford Academy, has committed to the NVU-Lyndon Hornets women’s basketball program for the Fall 2020 semester. Robinson is a 2018 Thetford graduate and has spent the past two years studying at the Community College of Vermont.
There is an increase in enrollment and applications at the Community College of Vermont, according to school officials. CCV Dean of Enrollment and Community Relations Katie Mobley said the school has seen an increase in applications in recent weeks, including a 24% increase in transfer student applications.
